One of the most significant infrastructure projects to benefit from ETEL and TMC’s cast resin transformers is the Auckland City Rail Link (CRL)—New Zealand’s largest transport infrastructure development. Multiple cast resin transformers were delivered, installed, and successfully commissioned by Omexom, as testing of the rail link commenced. The City Rail Link is currently scheduled to open to passengers in 2026, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
